SUBMISSION CALL 2010
Written by Administrator

Now accepting submissions for our 2010 Issues.

2010 is going to see a format change for BBM, and sturdier monthly issues.  Keep those subs coming during the transition!

We're looking for flash fiction and short stories up to 7K.  Limits are negotiable.

Currently, Brave Blue Mice is not a paying market.  We offer exposure and will add banners and other promotional materials to our jumprooms.

We like wierd, bizarro, horror, noir, sci-fi, and the occasional high fantasy piece.  Feel free to blend genres.  Please, no fan fiction.

Brave Blue Mice requests First Publication Rights to new work, and non-exclusive electronic distribution rights for as long as your piece remains on our site.  You may elect to have it run as long as you like, the default is indefinitely.  It's your work, and we respect that.

We like reprints- most other markets don't.  Remember that once your work is published, another market may not be interested in it.

If you have any questions, comments, concerns, threats, or vulgarities, please do not hesiatate to contact us and your correspondence will be treated with the utmost care possible from a half ton gorrilla.

All guidelines subject to change with or without notice.  Brave Blue Mice will not be held responsible for submissions eaten by the staff.  That's what mice do.

Pick it up today and watch as I break every single suggestion and rule I’ve ever given here on the ranty blog by writing in Defoe’s style. Plus you’ll have some fun with it and hopefully even find it a bit creepy and chill-inducing at points. You may even shed a tear or two.

But now, back to out regularly scheduled rant...
